Kristine has been a professional in the built environment for over 15 years. Highlights of her experience include leading over $24 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act energy and water projects, spearheading a comprehensive sustainability plan for the US General Services Administration, driving one of the first district level sustainably-focused Clinton Global Initiative projects for the City of San Francisco, and most recently founding Collective Thread research group. She is passionate about the advancement of city-level interventions that support healthy, resilient communities. With her masters from University of California at Berkeley in Building Science/Architecture she was named a Linda Latham Scholar by the ACEEE. She has been an active volunteer and advocate for sustainable development and communities on the West Coast and in communities throughout SE Asia.
